After bringing our puppy to a starter session, we decided to continue with focus training & for the past six months, Maple has enjoyed fortnightly sessions with Louise who has been extremely patient. Louise and Ruth have both taken the time to not only teach Maple how to focus & channel her nose in a productive and engaging way but also to train us owners so we can practise at home, which has been great whilst the weather has been too warm for more energetic activities. They’ve also shared their expert knowledge as trainers and owners on other matters too, providing us with advice and reassurance that has been invaluable as first time owners. Would 100% recommend Sniffy Dogs, especially for non working, highly intelligent breeds such as Cockapoos!

First visit with my 20week old puppy and she loved it. Seeing her sniff her way through many different surfaces to find the treats was a real joy to watch. The session also gave me an opportunity to get some one on one advise about my puppy & ask questions not just about scent work but anything was invaluable. Great way to tire out an energetic puppy that’s for sure!

Lovely little taster session at Sniffly Dogs. Ruth was friendly and made us feel right at home and while my 8 month pup explored all the different items looking for treats, she explained the different types of scent work they train. My boy seemed to love it and slept solidly all afternoon, after working so hard to find all those treats!

Had a lovely relaxed taster session with Ruth. Lots of fun and interesting to see how my dog processed the space. I can't wait to get booked on some more session to help built up confidence and difficulty

Really lovely ladies, who provided a fun and relaxing environment for my 4 month English springer spaniel pup to try out her sniffly skills. From being an anxious pup on arrival to relaxed and confident in no time - really enjoyable.

We came across Sniffly Dogs whilst looking for scent training courses for our very anxious Border Collie, Milo. As expected, Milo entered the building very cautiously with a tucked tail. We were immediately greeted by a free play set up, and it's fair to say it didn't take long for Milo's tail to be untucked as he was sniffing around the treats and puzzles very happily. Milo is particularly anxious around people, but by the end of our Sniffly Starter session he was taking treats out of Ruth's hands. Whilst Milo was free to explore the free play set up, Ruth shared her knowledge around scentwork, the benefits for dogs (especially like Milo) and some of the science behind it. As we explained more about Milo, Ruth also shared some other ideas outside scentwork which may also be beneficial for him. We are very much looking forward to starting our Sniffly Focus training here!

I visited sniffly dogs today with my chihuahua Peggy, we attended a sniffly starter session, I can’t recommend this enough, Ruth & Louise were so welcoming and amazing with Peggy. Peggy had the best time and was definitely in her element, she experienced lots of different smells and enrichment, we will definitely be back again ☺️

It is clear Ruth and Louise genuinely care about dogs and their owners and helping them build strong bonds. They have been very generous with their time and knowledge, taking time to get to know our dog's personality and needs and understand what we hoped to achieve with her. Thank you!
