Sniffly Reactive Reset
Small Group Workshop
Reactive Reset is a mindset-shifting workshop for humans living with reactive dogs. Across three gentle weekly in-person sessions (90 minutes each), you’ll explore why reactivity happens, what your dog’s behaviour is saying, and how your mindset can shift everything. Great for overwhelmed dog guardians who are tired of feeling judged and seeking a kinder, more effective approach to managing reactivity. Dogs rest at home while you reset.

Reactive Reset: A Workshop for Dogs Who Struggle to Stay Cool, and the Humans Who Love Them
Because reactivity isn’t disobedience — it’s a sign your dog (and maybe you) are overwhelmed.
“She’s fine… until she isn’t.”
Does this sound familiar?
- You want to enjoy walks, but you’re always on edge.
- You love your dog, but you feel frustrated, judged — and sometimes even ashamed.
- You’ve tried training, but nothing seems to stick.
- You feel like you’re managing chaos… not building connection.
We see you.
You’re not alone.
And your dog isn’t broken.
What Is Reactive Reset?
Reactive Reset is a 3-part workshop designed to help you understand your reactive dog — and support both of you with more calm, confidence, and clarity.
This isn’t just about your dog’s behaviour.
It’s about your reactions, your mindset, and your relationship.
Because what your dog needs most isn’t more control — it’s more understanding.
This is a human-only workshop. Dogs get to stay home and rest.
What We’ll Cover:
Session 1 – It’s Not Just About the Dog
Why your mindset matters, the beliefs that shape your responses, and how reactivity affects you, too.
Learn how your emotional state plays a role in your dog’s, and how to reframe shame and fear into forward momentum.
Session 2 – It’s All About the Dog
See reactivity from your dog’s perspective. What are they trying to say with their behaviour? How can we help them feel safe before we ask them to act differently?
We’ll explore body language, emotion, and regulation through scentwork, space, and choice.
Session 3 – It’s About Both of You
Bring it all together. This session focuses on enrichment, shared progress, and creating a plan that supports you both in the real world. It’s not about “fixing” reactivity — it’s about finding what works for your unique team.
You’ll Learn:
- What reactivity really is (and what it isn’t)
- How your mindset affects progress
- Why “he’s just being difficult” is missing the point
- The power of small wins and nervous system regulation
- Simple tools for walks that reduce stress — not add to it
- How to build trust with your dog in a way that feels good for both of you
Who Is This For?
This is for you if:
- You feel like walks are more survival than enjoyment
- You dread seeing another dog, bike, person, or bird
- You’ve said “he’s reactive” but don’t feel sure what that means
- You’re tired of feeling judged and just want to understand your dog better
- You’re ready for a different approach — one that starts with empathy, not obedience
