Sniffly Focus is mindful scent training that turns your dog into a focused scent detective. Perfect for anxious, reactive, high-energy, older, or rescue dogs, it encourages calm and confidence through purposeful sniffing. As you train together, you’ll build a stronger bond and both benefit emotionally. Across eight weekly 1:1 sessions, your dog will learn to find a specific scent (gun oil), with full support and all equipment provided.

You’ll have seen police scent dogs on TV. Well, this is our version, training your dog to be your very own scent detective.
Creating focus is the key to helping your dog build confidence and calm through purposeful sniffing. They are doing something that changes their emotional state. They are doing something they love.
For you, focus comes through being present with your dog as they search, creating a sense of being in flow and a change in emotional state for you too. This helps you to have confidence in your dog and strengthens your bond with them.
Sniffly Focus is mindfulness for both you and your dog.
Ideal For:
- Anxious or Reactive Dogs: Helps them lower their emotional state, focus through sniffing and feel more secure.
- Overstimulated or High-Energy Dogs: Channels energy in a controlled, mindful way rather than directing it on to you.
- Older or Less Active Dogs: Provides mental stimulation without high physical exertion; after all, just because they are old or reluctant to go for a walk, doesn’t mean they’re happy being a couch potato.
- Rescue Dogs: Offers a gentle, confidence-building activity to ease stress as they adapt to their new life of regular food, a warm bed and someone to give them belly rubs. Just think what it would do for your relationship.
- Working Breeds: Provides an outlet for those breeds whose ancestors had a proper job to do and nowadays find the only job they have is to constantly keep bringing back the same ball over and over again… and again.
- Dogs That Just Want to Have Fun: For those dogs who are bored, restless and just want more in their lives.
How does it work?
We teach you to train your dog to find one specific scent (we use gun oil), having fun in the process over 8 sessions.
At home, you’ll continue with the training and have WhatsApp support should you get stuck or want to ask anything. We’ll get back to you within 24 hours.
All scent-specific equipment is provided with a mini take-home pack.
Each weekly 1:1 session lasts 45 minutes and costs £35.
When you book a session, you’ll be directed to a calendar page where you can view all available dates. Simply select a time that works best for you and complete a brief questionnaire about your dog. Once submitted, you’ll be taken to a secure checkout to confirm your booking.
